About the Member

Devon Consulting Group (DCG) was established in 2021 by its director, Lisa Doney and operates across Australia and New Zealand. DCG provides commercial contract reviews, drafting, and negotiation, ongoing commercial advice, and can also assist with tender / proposal preparation and reviews. With in-depth experience on both sides of customer and vendor organisations, DCG brings a very unique perspective to the commercial and contractual aspects of an engagement. Having an in-depth understanding of project delivery methods, along with demonstrated commercial acumen and strong facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills has resulted in improved processes for clients and contracts / agreements that arrive at commercially viable positions for both parties, whilst reducing and/or mitigating real and perceived risks on either side. Whether it be deep diving into service level agreements (SLA’s) / rebates / performance regimes on support contracts, limiting a party’s liability to another party, managing indemnities and general risk exposure in Master Services Agreements and statements of work, or the simple act of ensuring NDA’s are binding, enforceable, cover the agreed / required purpose, and protect valuable intellectual property rights, DCG is well placed to assist in shoring up a wide range of company contracts / terms and conditions.

Testimonial

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Lisa in 2021 through mutual contacts in the ICT industry. Resilient AP had a number of contracts we used for the goods and services we offered but all seemed to have been created by people who knew the law, but didn't know the industry and the issues that could arise in the IT world. Lisa has worked through those contracts in a methodical manner ensuring that whilst each of them protect our interests in their specific areas, they also fit together well to enable consistency across our offerings. Her common-sense approach from years of experience in this field has also produced contracts that have been well received by our clients as fair and sensible and thus has enabled us to move forward with engagements faster and with great outcomes. I can highly recommend Lisa and Devon Consulting Group. P. Evans, Managing Director, Resilient Asia Pacific
